OK, Let's try Beginners' Blues Rock.
Put your left hand 1st finger just before the second fret (metal bit on fretboard) on the Fifth string (the thicker brassy one counting 1-6 for each string).
OK, now strum both strings 6 and 5 with your right hand.
A nice bassy sound.

Now slide your left hand finger to the fourth fret on the same (5th) string.
Strum twice on the same 2 strings; 6th and fifth (the two biggest ones).

Now slide your left hand 1st finger to its original position on the second fret and strum twice again. Repeat for a blues rock riff.
